Lanes of westbound Interstate 30 were reopened just after 8 a.m. on Monday following a fiery crash involving two 18-wheelers near Royse City.
The crash occurred before 5 a.m. in a construction zone near mile marker 76, with one of the trucks catching fire after the collision.
Emergency crews reported a working fire at 4:30 a.m., with the fire mostly extinguished by 4:49 a.m. and Rockwall FD units clearing the scene by 5:02 a.m.
