Elon University’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business has introduced the Summer Business Institute, a 10-week program based in Charlotte. This immersive experience enables students to earn a Business Administration minor within one summer.
Participants engage in core business courses integrating AI technology, case projects, and hands-on learning. The curriculum covers key areas such as accounting, marketing, management, and finance, providing practical skills for a range of careers.
To complete the minor, students must also take a foundational economics course either before or after attending the program in Charlotte.
The program is designed primarily for students with non-business majors or for those early in their business studies, offering a strong foundation regardless of their primary discipline.
"We are excited about the Summer Business Institute because it gives students from any discipline the chance to build a strong foundation in business while learning alongside industry partners in a vibrant city environment," said Mark Kurt, associate dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.
"This program reflects our commitment to preparing students to understand how business, technology and community intersect in practice."
Applications for the Summer Business Institute are currently open, with an Early Decision deadline of December 15.
