Power Outages in Upper Peninsula Updated
Several areas in the Upper Peninsula are facing power outages Monday afternoon, with Houghton County reporting the highest number of affected customers.

UPPCO identified the cause as issues with the transmission infrastructure supplying power to their system in the western part of the Upper Peninsula. Restoration efforts are underway.
"Power is actively being restored," UPPCO stated.
