The HiLux receives a significant facelift while retaining the existing platform and cabin structure from the A- to C-pillars.

Except for the electric model, all variants are powered by a 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, likely the continuation of the '1GD-FTV' engine commonly used in Australian HiLux models.
