South Korean pop star Hyuna collapsed during her performance at the Waterbomb music festival in Macau on November 9, 2025. The 33-year-old singer was performing her 2011 hit “Bubble Pop!” when she fainted mid-performance.
Videos shared on social media show two backup dancers rushing to her side before security helped her off the stage. The incident raised fresh concerns about her health among fans.
Later that day, Hyuna shared a statement on Instagram, apologizing and reassuring supporters of her condition.
“I’m truly sorry,” she wrote in Korean. “It was only a short time since my last performance, but I wanted to show you my best side.”
“I’ll try to build up my stamina and work hard consistently,” she added. “It will be great if everything goes my way, but I’ll keep trying my best.”
The singer, known for her work with groups such as Wonder Girls, 4Minute, and Triple H, said she had no memory of the collapse but promised to take better care of her health moving forward.
