Leonardo DiCaprio Reveals His Favourite Christopher Nolan Film

Leonardo DiCaprio has disclosed his favourite Christopher Nolan movie in a recent interview, and surprisingly, it is not Inception. Although the actor starred in the 2010 mind-bending blockbuster directed by Nolan, his top choice from the filmmaker’s catalogue is another acclaimed work.

“The Dark Knight is my favourite Christopher Nolan film,” DiCaprio confirmed during a conversation with Collider, alongside his co-star Benicio del Toro. Del Toro agreed with his selection.

The 2008 film, the second in Nolan’s celebrated Batman trilogy, features Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader and Heath Ledger in his unforgettable performance as the Joker. The movie is now often regarded as one of the greatest superhero films ever produced.

Upcoming Projects

DiCaprio has also been linked to a potential sequel to Michael Mann’s 1995 classic Heat, which Nolan has previously cited as an influence on The Dark Knight. The upcoming continuation is expected to introduce a new storyline, with Adam Driver reportedly attached to the cast.

In addition, DiCaprio plans to reunite with Martin Scorsese for What Happens At Night, co-starring Jennifer Lawrence. Adapted from Peter Cameron’s 2020 novel, the film follows an American couple who travel to a small European town to adopt a child, only to face strange and unsettling events at a nearly deserted hotel.

Author’s Summary

Leonardo DiCaprio surprised fans by naming The Dark Knight as his top Christopher Nolan film, while preparing for new roles alongside Adam Driver and Jennifer Lawrence.
