American country singer Drew Baldridge, currently touring Australia with 'Son of a Sinner' artist Jelly Roll, shared a gripping video of a violent altercation inside a McDonald's during their Melbourne stop.
The footage shows a customer verbally abusing a female employee at the counter. Baldridge described the scene:
“This dude comes in, he goes up to the girl at the desk taking the orders and he just said, 'F*** you, you dumb b***h.' He probably said it five times, and I was starting to get frustrated and I was like, 'Bro, you need to calm down. You don't talk to women like that.' Then he spit on her. Spit on a woman just because his order wasn't right.”
Before Baldridge could step in, two Australian men present in the restaurant intervened. He praised their prompt response:
“Hey, bro, we don't talk to women like that,” and before I knew it, these dudes got this guy on the ground. The guys were holding him down saying it was the wrong country to abuse women.”
Baldridge commended the men for standing up for what is right during the incident.
“They took a stand for respect and decency.”
Drew Baldridge witnessed the courage of locals defending a worker at a popular fast-food chain during his Australian tour.
