Jetstar is launching its largest expansion at Melbourne Avalon Airport (AVV), introducing its first international flights from Avalon to Bali. The airline will also restart its service to Adelaide and increase flight frequencies to Brisbane.
Starting March 23, 2026, Jetstar will operate five weekly round-trip flights between Melbourne Avalon and Bali Denpasar Airport (DPS) using Airbus A321LR aircraft. This new route will offer over 120,000 seats annually, providing convenient access to Bali’s popular beaches and cultural attractions.
The expansion will add more than 330,000 low-fare seats annually at Avalon, Melbourne’s second airport. This development aims to give travelers from Melbourne, Geelong, the Surf Coast, and Bellarine Peninsula more options while attracting additional tourists to Victoria.
