Filming Challenges and On-Set Anecdotes
During an appearance on Friday's episode of The Graham Norton Show, Glen described a stunt where he had to abseil down eight stories of a building in freezing weather, wearing only a harness that was unflattering. He joked about a production crew member whose sole job was to prevent him from kicking a window, meaning he inadvertently had an unusual view during multiple takes.
Tom Cruise's Advice
Glen also shared an embarrassing moment involving legendary stuntman Tom Cruise. The Top Gun actor, 63, called Glen to offer stunt advice. What was meant to be a brief chat turned into a two-and-a-half-hour conversation in which Tom imparted wisdom on "how not to die" and told Glen he didn’t "look cool" in his moves.
"Tom rang me to give me the low down and, what I thought would be a ten min call, lasted two and half hours – he basically told me how not to die."
