The West Coast Eagles have secured a four-year partnership with Allianz Australia, which will support the club’s AFL, AFLW, and Wheelchair football teams as a Platinum Partner. This deal marks Allianz’s first major sporting partnership in Western Australia and reflects its commitment to enhancing community programs across the country.
West Coast Eagles CEO Don Pyke emphasized the alignment between Allianz and the club’s values. He stated:
“Allianz Australia has a proven track record of resilience and performance, and an outstanding community focus which aligns with our club’s values and identity.”
He added that Allianz’s involvement would strengthen the Eagles’ football programs and support wider community initiatives.
The partnership will be inaugurated with a joint community effort supporting Foodbank WA’s Give a Feed appeal, which provides Christmas food hampers to Western Australian families in need. Allianz will sponsor 1,000 hampers, while Eagles players and staff will volunteer to deliver them before Christmas.
“Allianz has a long history of supporting sport and promoting the power of sport in uniting communities,” said managing director Richard Feledy.
This partnership underscores a shared dedication to both athletic excellence and community welfare.
Summary: The new partnership between the West Coast Eagles and Allianz Australia will boost the club’s football programs and community work through targeted support and collaborative initiatives.
