Special Weather Statement for Ottawa

Update #1: Friday, November 7, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Environment Canada has released a special weather statement for Ottawa, forecasting accumulating snowfall on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

Expected snowfall totals range from 5 to 15 cm, starting Sunday morning and continuing through Sunday night. A snowfall warning may be issued if conditions intensify.

Travel and Safety Advisory

The university remains open and operational. Community members are advised to use caution when traveling to and around campus.

Additional University Updates

On November 7, 2025, the President and Provost shared a message to the Carleton community outlining the creation of a Task Force on Community Healing.
