Environment Canada has released a caution warning predicting that the Ottawa region could receive between three and 15 centimeters of snow on Sunday.
The forecast has shifted throughout Saturday, initially lowering expected snowfall to about 5 centimeters, before increasing again by mid-afternoon.
Snowfall is expected to begin Sunday morning and continue into Sunday night, driven by a low-pressure system causing the precipitation.
Environment Canada stated that "a low-pressure system is responsible for the precipitation."
