Hayley Williams has released the full 20-track physical edition of her third solo album Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, marking her first major independent release following over two decades with Atlantic Records. The album is now available in stores worldwide.
This physical release includes two songs making their debut on physical format: Good Ol’ Days and Showbiz. It represents a significant chapter in Williams’ artistic journey, closing the long chapter of her major-label career.
Initially, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party was released in mid-2025 in a unique way — not as a conventional album, but as 17 separate singles dropped unexpectedly. Fans enthusiastically pieced the tracks together, sequencing their own versions and even creating a website to exchange tracklists.
Williams once said she hoped listeners would “shape the story themselves.”
Weeks later, the songs were collected into an 18-track digital version featuring the song Parachute, which quickly amassed over 130 million streams.
The new 20-track physical edition now completes the Ego Death project. It symbolizes not only the end of the album’s creative evolution but also the conclusion of Williams’ long-standing contract signed when she was still a teenager. By the end of 2023, Paramore had become fully independent, solidifying a new era for both Williams and the band.
Hayley Williams crowns her independent career phase with the 20-track physical release of Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, ending her two-decade major-label journey with creative freedom.
