Obituary – Gary Barkley
Gary Barkley of Williamsburg, age 68, passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
He is survived by his loving wife Laurie Barkley (nee Stata) of 47 years, and his children Julie Barkley of Williamsburg and Crystal Barkley (Sheldon) of Alberta.
Gary is also survived by his siblings Larry Barkley (Rhonda) of Ingleside, Sandra Barkley (Steve) of Elma, and Tracy Johnston (Lyndon) of Williamsburg, as well as his grandchildren Madilynn, Emmitt, and Gracelynn, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Garnet “Sage” and Audrey Barkley (nee Crites), his brother Calvin, his niece Trish, and his nephew Micheal.
