The third T20I between India and Australia will be played at Bellerive Oval, Hobart, on Sunday. Suryakumar Yadav’s Indian side faces Mitchell Marsh’s Australian team in the ongoing five-match series.
Australia currently leads the series 1–0 after winning the second T20I in Melbourne, while the opening match in Canberra was washed out due to rain.
In the second match, India’s batting lineup struggled against pace and bounce on a seamer-friendly wicket. Apart from Abhishek Sharma, most batters found it difficult to keep the scoreboard moving. With only 125 runs to defend, the bowlers had little margin for error and could not make a significant impact.
Bellerive Oval generally offers a true batting surface. Early in the innings, pacers may find some seam movement, but as the ball softens, batting conditions typically improve.
The weather in Hobart on Sunday is expected to be clear with a maximum temperature of 26°C and a minimum of 13°C. Rain is unlikely to disrupt the match.
"Bellerive Oval is a good batting deck. Although there will be a bit of seam movement for the fast bowlers early on, batting tends to get easier as the ball loses its shine."
India faces a must-win third T20I in Hobart, where favorable weather and a balanced pitch promise a competitive contest against Australia.
