Source Predicts Prince Harry Will Lose Title Once Prince William Is King
Nine royals could face losing their prince or princess titles. Recently, King Charles removed the "prince" title from his brother, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, a historic decision that might signal more title changes in the royal family.
Although it seems unlikely King Charles would remove other titles, a palace source told Page Six that they "would not be surprised" if future King William stripped Prince Harry of his title. The source explained,
"If they pass these bills, I would not be surprised if Harry is the next one to go. I would not be surprised if William does that…he’s not a vindictive person, but he feels very let down and it’s always much more difficult when you are let down by somebody close to you."
Another source told The Daily Beast that William plans to "remove princely titles from all non-working royals," also taking away their "HRH" (His/Her Royal Highness) honorifics.
