Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center Collaborates with Lavazza
On Wednesday, October 29th, the Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center hosted a special event featuring Martin Scorsese and his daughter, Francesca Scorsese, to launch a new café in partnership with Italian coffee brand Lavazza.
The event gathered NYU Tisch alumni, current students, and special guests to celebrate Lavazza’s contribution to the café located within the Center at Industry City. Martin Scorsese, Tisch Dean's Council member (’64, ’68, Hon. ’92), attended alongside Francesca Scorsese ’23 (BFA, Kanbar Institute, Film & TV).
Martin Scorsese spoke about the importance of coffee shops in his youth and career, describing them as vital spaces for artistic collaboration and creativity.
