There are no hard feelings between Alan Carr and Paloma Faith despite the dramatic moment on the hit show Celebrity Traitors. Carr, who won the series, humorously claimed he is the father of the singer's unborn child after "murdering" her in the game.
Paloma Faith announced last month that she is pregnant with her third child. During the show’s tense final, Carr, the Traitors champion, eliminated Faith in the series' first killing.
On the official podcast Uncloaked, Carr opened up about how difficult it was to "murder" his friend.
“It was so awful, it really hurt.”
He apologized to Faith directly:
“I am so sorry, you know I am.”
Then, jokingly, he added:
“I want to tell everyone that I am the father of her unborn child. We had a make up hug and one thing led to another.”
Faith, watching the podcast live, responded with humor and warmth about the experience:
“I have been known to turn people and it was an enjoyable experience for both of us.”
She confirmed no hard feelings and shared her emotional reflections on the show’s outcome:
“Observing tonight and going through my whole plethora of hormonal emotions, I feel like the reason Alan won and I was so sad was we all love him so much.”
Alan Carr's playful joke about fathering Paloma Faith's baby highlights their friendly bond despite the dramatic moments on Celebrity Traitors.
