Jalen Green made a memorable entrance in his first game for the Phoenix Suns, contributing 29 points to secure a 115–102 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night in Phoenix.
His performance stood out as the highest scoring effort by any Suns player this season other than Devin Booker, underscoring his immediate impact. Green displayed composure, efficiency, and a strong rhythm throughout the game, proving his reputation as an instinctive scorer.
In just 23 minutes on the court, Green went 10-for-20 from the field and hit 6 of 13 from beyond the arc. He also recorded a game-best +30, which reflected his significant contribution to the team’s success.
“Takes a lot of pressure off anybody,” Booker said of Green. “With the opportunity and space he can pretty much do anything.”
Having missed the first eight games of the season, Green admitted that he was too excited to take his usual pregame nap. Still, his energy translated into a powerful debut that showcased exactly what he brings to Phoenix's offense.
Jalen Green’s explosive 29-point Suns debut demonstrated his scoring edge and immediate chemistry with Devin Booker, setting a high bar for the season ahead.
