Lego unveils first Star Trek set featuring USS Enterprise D and Next Generation crew

Lego has introduced its first Star Trek-themed set, bringing to life the iconic starship USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation. This detailed model, composed of 3,600 pieces, will officially launch on November 28, 2025, with a retail price of $399.99. It is intended for fans and builders aged 18 and older.

Design and Features

The Enterprise D model reflects the ship’s distinctive saucer section, secondary hull, and warp nacelles, accented with red and blue highlights. The set also includes:

A detachable command saucer
Two miniature shuttlepods
An opening shuttlebay

Background and Legacy

The USS Enterprise-D appeared throughout the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987–1994) and in the 1994 film Star Trek: Generations, becoming one of the franchise’s most recognized vessels.

Launch Celebration

To mark the release, Lego is partnering with Paramount Products & Experiences for special events on Black Friday. One of the highlights will be a meet-and-greet session with set designer Hans Burkhand Schlömer at the Lego Store in London’s Leicester Square.

Fans who buy the set before December 1 will receive an exclusive Type-15 Federation shuttlepod named Onizuka — a tribute to astronaut Ellison Onizuka, who perished in the 1986 Challenger disaster.
